The Tung style of acupuncture is a form of Chinese Medicine that some claim predates the Huang Di Nei Jing. Master Ching-Chang Tung (1916-1975) shared his family’s style of practice for the greater good of people everywhere and often treated patients for free in his own clinic when they could not pay. Tung Style Acupuncture uses many points that are distinct from the meridian and extra points that are recognized by contemporary TCM. However, a solid understanding of the point functions and traditional meridians is essential to implementing Tung Style Acupuncture effectively.
